Delete your data

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Gospel IQ has no accounts. Almost everything it records stays on your own device, so you can delete it yourself, right in the app, at any time.

Data on your device

Your setup answer, answers and practice history, scores, review schedule, streak, XP, settings and flagged questions are stored only on your device.

  1. Open Gospel IQ.
  2. Go to More → Settings.
  3. Tap Erase all progress and confirm.

This deletes all of it immediately. Uninstalling the app also deletes it.

Data on the weekly leaderboard (only if you joined it)

If you joined the optional weekly leaderboard, our server holds your nickname, your XP for each week, your best week (highest weekly XP and which week), your current daily streak, and a random id your device made up (not linked to your name, account or phone). If you reported another player's nickname, that report is stored too.

  1. Open Gospel IQ.
  2. Go to Progress → Leaderboard.
  3. Tap Leave the leaderboard and confirm.

This immediately deletes everything the server holds for your device, for every week: your entries, your best-week record, any reports about your nickname, and any reports you made. Nothing is kept afterwards.

Anonymous usage counts

The app sends anonymous counts, such as how many questions were answered today and which kinds of sets were finished, to help us see how Gospel IQ is used. They carry no id of any kind, and the server only adds them to daily, weekly and monthly totals, so there is no record of your device to delete. To stop sending them, go to More → Settings and turn off Share anonymous usage counts.

How long anything is kept

Can't use the app?

If you no longer have the device, email contact@managewithoptima.com with the leaderboard nickname you used and roughly when, and we'll delete the matching entries. Because there are no accounts, we can't tie anything else to you — there is nothing else to delete.
